How to fake glowing, radiant skin with Clarins, Kevyn Aucoin, Charlotte Tilbury & more!

When you suffer from a chronic illness and take lots of strong medications to treat said illness, it can be difficult to achieve naturally radiant skin that looks lit from within so I like to fake it! I have a lot of glow enhancing/faking products in my collection and today am sharing six products that I know I can rely on when I am having a very dull/fatigued skin day (most days at the moment!). They are all high end products but because I know I can depend on them, I am happy to spend my money on them.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is a product that I have loved for years and years! I have a number of primers, but this is one that I always need to have in my collection because I use it almost every time I do my make-up, sometimes in conjunction with another primer. My make-up doesn't look the same if I don't use it. I apply a small amount to my skin before applying foundation and instantly my skin looks brighter, fresher and maybe a little plumper/younger. It is like magic! I can always rely on it to hydrate my skin and to prevent my foundation from clinging to any dry patches I might have.

The second product is Wonder Glow from Charlotte Tilbury. This lives up to its name by adding a glow to my skin and it blurs my fine lines. It somehow makes me look like I've had 8 hours un-interrupted, quality sleep. This would be perfect for mothers who have been up all night with crying babies!

Next up is my base of choice when I really need to look "well" and it is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I have used this foundation for about 8 years now ( I used their Hydra Glow before that, which was unfortunately discontinued but was the best foundation EVER for my dry skin) and will always repurchase it. It is probably the most expensive foundation I own but I always pick it up in Duty Free, where it is always a lot cheaper. It gives my skin a flawless finish that lasts for hours 7 hours without needing to be re-touched. It isn't dewy, but certainly makes my skin look radiant and healthy.

YSL Touche Eclat is another product that I have been using for years and years. I know that there are lots of similar, less expensive products on the market but none I have tried have been as good as this. I use it to brighten my under eye area and like Wonder Glow, it is very soft focus in its abilities. It definitely helps to make me look less fatigued. I don't use it every day, but it is a product that I always like to have in my collection for very dull skin days.

Next up is a product that I have only had for about 3 months but it is a firm favourite. It is The Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting by Kevyn Aucoin. This is my favourite liquid highlighter, It gives a very lit from within look to my skin and isn't too over the top in terms of its highlighting effect. It really does lift the skin and add radiance.

Finally, I like to finish by using a blush from my Hourglass Ambient Blush palette. I especially love Luminous Flush, which is on the left of the palette because it just adds some fresh colour & a bit more luminosity to my skin, which is needed on days where I am very fatigued but need to leave the house!

I would love to know if you use any of these products or what products you like to use when you want healthy looking skin but mother nature isn't playing ball? I'd love to heard your recommendations in the comments below!
