A small make-up haul featuring Too Faced, Nars & more!

Another day, another haul - only this time it's a small one so I'n not sure it could even be labelled as a haul but I want to share my purchases with you anyway! I have two products from Too Faced and three lipsticks from a variety of brands; some that I have wanted for quite a while and one blogger enabled purchase.

I'll start with the foundation: Too Faced Born This Way. I got three samples of this foundation in July/August with a Debenhams order that I placed and from those three samples, I was able to select the perfect colour match for me. This foundation, although oil free, really suits my dry skin thanks to the hyaluronic acid in it. It's high coverage, which I don't normally go for, but I really liked how it looked on my skin when I used the samples.

Also from Too Faced, I bought the Star Dust by Vegas Ney eyeshadow palette. I say palette, but it comes with a few extras so it's more like a gift set. Inside the box is a palette with 12 shadows in matte, sparkly/glittery and shimmer finishes, a mini Better Than Sex mascara (one of my faves), a mini Shadow Insurance Eye Primer, a loose pigment shadow and six cards which give step-by-step instructions on how to achieve a variety of looks (I absolutely love when brands include these). I cannot wait to play with these shadows and hope they are the same standard/quality as their usual eyeshadows, which I love. I bought this from Rose's Beauty Store, which is a great option for those of us who live outside the U.S.

Finally, I bought three lipsticks! On the left is the blogger induced purchase: After Dark from Urban Decay's new Matte Revolution range. I bought this after seeing it on Dagmara's blog.  I have similar lipsticks in my collection, but none that are matte so I am looking forward to wearing this. In the middle is my first Nars Audacious lipstick. There are so many beautiful colours to choose from that it was overwhelming trying to choose one but I settled on Anna, which I thought would be a good every day shade. Finally, I have had my eye on Mehr from MAC for quite a while & I think this might be an even better match for Soar lip pencil than Brave.

I'm really happy with all of my purchases and they will undoubtedly feature in my monthly favourites if I love them as much as I think I will.

Have you tried any of these products? I'd especially love to know any recommendations you might have for other Audacious lipsticks or others in the Urban Decay Matte Revolution range? What have you been buying recently? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
