I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of the latest addition to the Marc Jacobs Daisy range: Daisy Dream Forever for my birthday last week and I thought I'd share my thoughts on it with you today.
If you aren't familiar with the original Daisy Dream, it is a fruity take on the original Daisy perfume. It is both floral (true to its Daisy roots) and fruity and is very fresh and uplifting - a very definite Spring/Summer scent. The original Daisy Dream is an Eau De Toilette so it only lasts 3/4 hours on the skin. Daisy Dream Forever is an Eau De Parfum, which means that it is much more long-lasting and I can still smell after 6/7 hours. The scent is a more intense version of the original and I would definitely describe it as more fruity than floral and quite sweet, but not overly so.
As with all fragrances in the Daisy Range, the bottle is really pretty. The bottle is blue and all of the daisies are blue, which looks stunning against the silver background of the lid. It is taking pride of place on my perfume shelf and make me smile & have a quick spray every time I see it.
Overall, I am very happy to own this perfume and think it is suitable for both day & night-time. If you liked the original, you will love this and if I had to choose between the two, I would choose Daisy Dream Forever purely because the scent lasts longer.
As far as I am aware, this is only available in a 50ml bottle and retails at an eye-watering €75!
Do you like Marc Jacobs fragrances, particularly the Daisy line? I'd love to know your favourite from the range?
Thanks for reading!
