Birthday pressies & recent purchases!

So it was my birthday last Saturday and I really had a lovely weekend celebrating with my gorgeous Hubby & family. I received some really beautiful pressies & thought I would show you the beauty related pressies today and also some products I bought with birthday money. I was thoroughly spoilt & I am really excited about using all of these products! Everybody knows I am beauty crazy so a lot of pressies were based around that! 


First up is an Hourglass blush. I absolutely love these blushes & already have Dim Infusion, which was a birthday gift last year, and the blush palette. I was lucky enough to be given Diffused Heat this year, which is a beautiful vibrant peachy pink colour - exactly the kind of blush I like. I can't wait to wear it!

I was delighted to receive Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Liquid Lighting. I'm all about highlighting at the moment (who isn't?!) & already love the powder version of this in Candlelight, so cannot wait to use this & I will report back soon.

Because I eventually found a way to get By Terry Ombre Blackstar Melting Eyeshadow in Misty Rock to work on my lids without creasing or disappearing, I had Bronze Moon on my wishlist so I was delighted to receive it. It is such a beautiful colour & I cannot wait to use it with my trusty Smashbox lid primer.

I received two Urban Decay products - an Afterglow blush in the shade Indecent - a true peach, which is right up my street and one of the new Brow Beater Microfine Brow Pencils which looks very similar to the Anastasia Brow Wiz, so I am looking forward to using both of those.

A product that I have had my eye on for quite a while is the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer  and I am really looking forward to using this because I used to love a similar product by the new defunct brand, Pout, and haven't been able to find a product of this kind that I have liked as much since then.

I got a beautiful mint nail polish from the OPI Hawaiian collection. It's called That's Hula-rious and it looks right up my street! I love the formulation of OPI polishes & think this will be perfect when I go on holiday in a few weeks.

I received a discount code from Feel Unique for my birthday, so I bought another Clinique Pop Lip Colour & Primer lipstick in the shade Beige Pop. I absolutely love these lipsticks - they are so comfortable on the lips and long-lasting.

I love Daisy Dream perfume from Marc Jacobs, which featured in my very first post last July, so I was delighted to receive a bottle of the newest fragrance from the range: Daisy Dream Forever. 

I absolutely love the scent of two Molton Brown products I received from the Blossoming Honeysuckle & White Tea range. I received the hand cream & bath & shower wash.

I received my very first Jo Malone candle, which I am very excited about because I have wanted one for quite a while but couldn't justify buying one for myself. I received Orange Blossom & I cannot wait to light this! It smells amazing in the box!

Finally, I received a mascara that I haven't tried before - Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara. I love a mascara that adds volume and lift, so this sounds right up my street - can't wait to try it!

I think you'll agree that I was totally spoilt rotten with all of these gorgeous pressies! I still have some birthday money & vouchers left so if I buy any beauty related products, I will post about them soon. Champagne Pop from Jaclyn Hill/Becca has already been ordered so I will show you that as soon as it arrives and I've also ordered another Clinique Lip Pop lipstick. I am so very grateful for everything I received & cannot wait to start using them all! Have you tried any of the products that I've mentioned here? Would love to hear your thoughts!
