REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial is a product that has been on my radar ever since it was launched last year. I was really intrigued by its claims to deliver the results if a facial in 60 seconds. I resisted buying it until now because I have had a lot of skincare products to use up first, but if you've seen any of my recent empties posts, you will know I have finished a lot of skincare products in the last few months so I could justify this purchase!
Honest reviews, regular hauls and all things beauty.

REVIEW: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer Luminous Bronze Light
As soon as I heard that Hourglass were releasing a bronzer, I knew I would have to buy it. I love the blushes so much - they apply so evenly and the marbled effect means that you are left with a very healthy glow to the cheeks that looks natural. I haven't tried the powders that so many people rave about, but anything I have tried from the brand, I have loved. I was stalking the Space NK website & when I saw it on there earlier this week, I pounced on it! *Rant alert* It was priced at £42, which was pretty much what I expected so I ordered & it worked out at €60 and a few cents (ridiculous price for a bronzer, I know!) but when I read Karen's post saying she bought it in Space NK Dublin for €48, I must admit that I was ticked off given that I had paid 25% more! Space NK should really give Irish consumers the opportunity to buy in euros! Net a Porter are selling it for €50.80. *End of rant*

A nude lip combo for gloss lovers featuring Charlotte Tilbury & YSL!
Thanks to Kylie Jenner, the who nude lip thing is not going anywhere anytime soon and I'm happy about that because I have favoured nude lips for years! However, not everybody likes lipstick - in fact, until about 18 months ago I only ever really wore lip glosses. Today, I am sharing a combo that really is a "your lips but better" look.

Products worth the hype #1
When I apply my make-up, I choose the products I want to use that day from my collection & put them on my dressing table before I start, rather than choosing as I go and on Saturday when I had them laid out ready to apply, I realised that I use a lot of hyped up products but that is because they are simply amazing products so they are deserving of the hype. Sometimes you really do wonder if a product can be THAT good and sometimes they really are! I have tried some beauty blogger favourites that I believe are not worth the hype, but that is for another day's post! Today I am sharing my first instalment of products worth the hype and I am focusing on make-up.

Empties & speedy reviews #12 featuring Alpha H, Garnier, Xen Tan, Ren, origins & more!
I really seem to be flying through products at the moment, but then again if you've seen my hauls, you'll know that I've been re-stocking quite quickly too! Today I have a mixture of skin care, body care with a few randoms thrown in! Some you will have seen on the blog before, but I'll do speedy reviews and tell you if I would buy them again!
I'll start with skin care: I finished a bottle of Garnier Micellar Water, which I prefer to Bioderma. It is inexpensive but effective. It removes my make-up so quickly & easily before I move onto my cleanse with a balm. I will repurchase.

REVIEW: Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate
I have dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin and serums are an important step in my skincare routine. At night, I tend to stick to Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair but for my morning skincare routine, I change it up a bit and like to try different serums instead of just sticking to one. I have been using Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate for the last four weeks and I want to share my thoughts on it with you today. The description says that it is aimed at reducing the look of dull, tired-looking skin and that is exactly what I am looking for at the minute.

REVIEW: Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in the shade Maui
Anastasia Beverly Hills is a brand that is synonymous with quality and it is famous for both brow products and the contour kit. I own the famous contour kit, two of their brow products and one of their eyeshadow palettes and really love them all. The only product that I tried from the brand and didn't like was their recently released liquid lipsticks because I found them to be too drying and flat looking. Having said that, I was still tempted by their newly released Lip Glosses. They aren't released on this side of the Atlantic yet so I checked Rose's Beauty Store and they were in stock so I chose the shade Maui.

About me, M.E.,Lyme and invisible illnesses
It's not a beauty post from me today, I thought I would tell you a little about M.E. and Lyme Disease and the effect these have taken on my health. In 2000, I was having the time of my life, on my first holiday with my then boyfriend, now husband and on our second night there, I was bitten. I woke up to find that one of my legs and one bum cheek had been eaten alive, practically! I had been on lots of sun holiday before this and had never been bitten, so this was a shock to the system. I really didn't know what to do with the bites, apart from apply sudocreme and assume that they would heal/disappear. They weren't itchy, which I thought was strange because I had been on holiday with my friends only a few weeks before and my best friend got lots of insect bites was tormented from the itch. The bite on my bum was huge and had a very angry red circle around it. I could see people look at it around the pool because it spread so far that my bikini bottom wouldn't cover it. I forgot about it and just got on with enjoying the rest of my holiday.

Possible MAC Satin Taupe Dupe! Brilliant budget eye shadow: Seventeen Eyeshadow Mono in Rose Quartz
I bought this beautiful eyeshadow from Boots recently and I absolutely love it. It is from the Seventeen range: Eyeshadow Mono in the shade Rose Quartz. It is a similar colour to MAC Satin Taupe and By Terry Misty Rock - basically if they had a baby, this would be it!

Comparing L'Occitane body oils: Supple Skin Oil Vs Tonic Body Oil
In my recent haul, you will have seen that I bought two L'Occitane body oils. I have used a few bottles of the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil before and always loved it and on my never-ending list of products to try was the L'Occitane Supple Skin Oil so I decided to try it in order to hydrate my skin and get it ready for summer! I also decided to buy L'Occitane Tonic Body Oil out of curiosity and thought I would give you a comparison review of them both today.

REVIEW: Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette
Kat Von D is a brand that I have never bought anything from before simply because there are no stockists in Ireland or the U.K. and I have never wanted any of the products enough to warrant a Sephora order............ until now! There are a number of products from the brand that have piqued my interest before but never in this way. When I saw the Light & Shade contour palette, I was tempted but because I already own the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and Smashbox Contour Sticks, I decided against buying it because I pretty much have contouring covered. However, when I saw the Light & Shade Eye Contour Palette, I knew that I couldn't resist.

REVIEW: Nails Inc The New White
When I spotted the new range of polishes from Nails Inc, I was really excited because I like the look of pale pastel nails but find pure white to be too harsh for me personally. There are 4 shades in the range: White Horse Street - a pale grey-white, Lilly Road - a pale pink-white, Whitehall - a pale peach-white and Swan Street - a pale mint-white.
